Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with distributors, retailers, bars, restaurants, and other potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by prospecting and closing new business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales, product knowledge resources, and promotional campaigns.
  • Attend industry events, beer festivals, and trade shows to promote the brewery and grow our network of clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including timely responses to inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with the sales manager to develop sales strategies and track progress on key performance metrics.
  • Report on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis to help guide business decisions.
  • Keep up to date with the brewery's product offerings, seasonal releases, and any new marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in arranging and executing in-store tastings and promotional events to increase brand visibility and sales.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the beverage, food, or craft beer industry.
  • Passion for craft beer and a strong understanding of the craft beer market and culture.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet clients, attend events, and build business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the craft beer, alcohol, or food and beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of the craft beer market, distribution channels, and retail trends.
  • Experience with promotional events, tastings, and product demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with the brewery's local, regional, or national competitors and trends.
