WE ARE HIRING: Sales Specialist / Senior Sales Specialist – Education Segment (Chennai & Coimbatore) Location: Coimbatore / Chennai Target Customers: Colleges, Universities, and Schools Industry: Intellectual Property (IP) Consulting & Services Are you passionate about innovation and education? Do you have a proven track record in selling to educational institutions and academicians? If yes, Allinnov invites you to join us in shaping the future of intellectual property access, awareness, utilization and innovation in academia! We are looking for a results-driven sales professional to lead our outreach in Coimbatore and Chennai, primarily targeting academicians, colleges and universities , and expanding into schools . This role involves promoting Allinnov’s IP consulting, patent facilitation, and innovation services to academic institutions. Key Responsibilities: Drive B2C and B2B sales of Innovation and IP consulting services —including patent drafting, filing, prosecution, maintenance and innovation training—to colleges, universities, and schools. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through structured outreach, relationship-building, and strategic targeting of educational institutions. Present tailored IP service solutions to decision-makers such as Principals, Vice-Chancellors, Deans, HoDs, and School Management . Represent Allinnov at academic events, innovation fairs, and workshops to drive awareness and interest. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling. Qualifications: 2+ years of proven experience in selling services or products to educational institutions (preferably in Tamil Nadu). Strong understanding of academic decision-making hierarchies and sales cycles in colleges/schools. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil. Ability to travel frequently within Coimbatore / Chennai and other parts of the India. Any background in IP, EdTech, consulting, or institutional training will be a plus.
