Job Description – Field Sales Executive
Location: Mumbai / On-field Experience: 1–3 years
Salary Range: (Negotiable based on the experience and skills)

Role Summary
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for visiting clients, generating new business, understanding customer requirements, presenting products, and ensuring consistent follow-ups to convert leads into orders. This role involves travel, relationship building, and strong coordination with the internal sales team. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Visits & Sales Meetings • Visit OEMs, manufacturers, distributors & prospects regularly. • Conduct sales presentations and explain product applications (FR4, G10, G11, GPO3, FRP, mica, pultrusions, etc.). • Understand customer requirements, take notes, and share with the sales/estimation team. 2. Lead Generation & Market Development • Identify potential customers in industries like Transformers, Motors, Switchgear, EV, Railways, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, etc. • Generate new enquiries through field visits, networking & references. • Create a strong sales pipeline. 3. Enquiry & Quotation Coordination • Collect RFQs from customers during visits. • Coordinate with Inside Sales & Estimation teams for costing and quotations. • Share quotations with clients and follow up until closure. 4. Relationship Building • Maintain strong relations with purchasing managers, engineers, and decision-makers. • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention. • Identify upselling & cross-selling opportunities. 5. Order & Delivery Follow-Up • Coordinate with production, purchase, dispatch, and accounts for order status. • Share updates with clients regarding delivery timelines, PI, payment, etc. 6. Reporting & Documentation • Maintain daily visit reports, call logs, and follow-up sheets. • Update CRM with client interactions, meeting notes, and sales progress. • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports. 7. Market & Competitor Knowledge • Understand competitor pricing, product offerings, and market positioning. • Share insights with management for strategic decisions. Skills Required • Strong communication & negotiation skills. • Comfortable with frequent field visits & travel. • Ability to explain technical products clearly. • Good knowledge of MS Excel, CRM tools & Google Sheets. • Strong relationship-building & follow-up abilities. • Target-oriented mindset. Preferred Background • 1–3 years in industrial/B2B field sales. • Experience dealing with OEMs & engineering companies. • Knowledge of electrical, composites, insulation materials (bonus). • Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Electrical (preferred but not mandatory). Personality Traits • Confident, energetic, and self-driven. • Strong ownership & responsibility. • Good presentation & communication skills. • Persistent, disciplined, and positive attitude Additional Notes – Field Sales Executive • Working hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon–Sat) + Field flexibility
