Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Medical Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our advanced arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis machines and related consumables to hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic labs within the designated territory of Delhi and the Delhi NCR region. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strong sales acumen, and a commitment to building long-term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

· Achieve sales targets: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals for ABG machines and accessories in the Delhi and Delhi NCR region.

· Identify sales opportunities: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities by targeting key medical facilities, including ICUs, emergency departments, Biochemistry labs, Central labs and pathology labs.

· Conduct product demonstrations: Perform compelling and accurate product demonstrations of the ABG machines for healthcare professionals, including lab technicians, doctors, and hospital administrators.

· Build client relationships: Nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

· Negotiate contracts: Lead the negotiation of sales contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring favourable terms for the company.

· Market analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales strategies.

· Provide clinical and technical support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing technical and clinical support related to the ABG machines.

· Attend industry events: Represent the company at relevant trade shows, medical conferences, and workshops in the Delhi NCR area.

· Administrative duties: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using the company's CRM software

Qualifications and requirements

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

· Experience: Previous experience (3+ years) in medical equipment, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic equipment sales is required. Direct experience selling to hospitals and labs in the Delhi NCR region is a significant plus.

· Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of the clinical applications and technical specifications of arterial blood gas (ABG) analyzers is essential.

· Communication skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are a must.

· Sales aptitude: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Self-motivation: Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize tasks.

· Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Delhi and the Delhi NCR region.

· Local market knowledge: Familiarity with the healthcare landscape and key medical facilities in the assigned territory is highly desirable.

· Transport: A valid driver's license and own conveyance is often required for this role.
