Role & responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Develop and implement
sales strategies
to drive containerized shipping business.
Identify and acquire
new clients, including exporters, importers, and logistics partners
.
Maintain and expand existing
customer relationships
to maximize business opportunities.

Trade Lane & Market Expansion

Analyze
market trends, trade lanes, and competitor activities
to enhance sales strategies.
Work closely with pricing teams to ensure
competitive freight rates
and service offerings.
Develop new
trade lanes and optimize vessel slot utilization
.

Customer Relationship Management

Engage with
key clients, freight forwarders, and industry stakeholders
.
Ensure prompt resolution of customer queries and
provide value-added solutions
.
Strengthen Parekh Groups reputation as a
reliable and customer-focused shipping partner
.

Freight Rate & Contract Management

Negotiate and finalize
freight rates, service contracts, and agreements
.
Monitor
cost structures and profitability of trade lanes
.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline
pricing models and contract terms
.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and mentor a team of
sales executives and junior sales professionals
.
Conduct training sessions on
liner sales strategies, negotiation tactics, and market trends
.
Monitor
performance metrics, sales targets, and team KPIs
to ensure efficiency.
