Sales & Operations Intern

Location:

The incumbent will be a core member of the Sales team, responsible for managing the complete sales lifecycle - from lead generation and qualification to closure and initial execution coordination.

This role is designed for individuals who are:

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Lead Conversion

    • Handle inbound and outbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, CRM, and direct interactions
    • Qualify leads based on project scope, budget, timeline, and intent
    • Build professional rapport and trust with customers
    • Drive structured follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed projects
    • Clearly communicate TatvaOps value proposition, process, and differentiation
    • Address customer queries related to pricing, scope, and execution flow

2. Sales-Led Coordination & Execution Readiness

    • Coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders during quotation and negotiation stages
    • Ensure all requirements, documents, and confirmations are in place before closure
    • Support smooth transition from sales closure to project initiation
    • Act as the single point of accountability from lead stage to project kick off

3. Vendor Onboarding & Sales-Led Partner Coordination

    • Identify, engage, and onboard service providers as part of the sales process
    • Collect, verify, and maintain vendor details, documents, and basic credentials
    • Assess vendor suitability based on category, pricing, availability, and service quality
    • Act as the primary point of coordination between customers and vendors during pre-sales
    • Facilitate quotation discussions, scope alignment, and negotiation support
    • Ensure vendor readiness before project confirmation

This role requires sales professionals who can think beyond just closing and ensure readiness for execution.


1. CRM, Funnel & Sales Operations

    • Maintain accurate CRM records including lead status, follow-ups, and call logs
    • Track funnel movement, conversion ratios, and drop-offs
    • Prepare daily and weekly sales activity and performance reports
    • Ensure all customer communication, quotations, and documents are properly recorded

2. Field & Market Interaction

    • Conduct site visits, vendor interactions, and client meetings as required
    • Capture on-ground insights related to pricing, customer expectations, and competition
    • Represent TatvaOps professionally in all external interactions

3. Reporting, Feedback & Improvement

    • Share daily updates on leads, follow-ups, and closures
    • Participate in review meetings and sales discussions
    • Provide structured feedback to improve sales scripts, processes, and customer experience

  • Clear verbal communication in English (additional Indian languages are a plus)
