Your responsibilities will entail promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services in a designated geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to achieve or surpass sales targets. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals, will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will be accountable for identifying leads, evaluating needs, and offering product services to optimize the benefits provided by Medtronic's products and/or services. Additionally, you will play a key role in educating stakeholders about the company's products and services. Market research, including analyzing customers" and competitors" activities, will also be part of your duties. You will be responsible for implementing market development strategies and adjusting them as necessary. Furthermore, you will communicate customer feedback on new products or enhancements to existing products to internal stakeholders such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing. You will be part of the sales professional career stream, primarily focusing on direct sales responsibilities. Your role may involve overseeing the work of other sales professionals or managing sales processes and accounts with multiple team members. Your main responsibilities will revolve around establishing and maintaining customer relationships, acquiring new customers, implementing sales strategies, and closing sales. As an entry-level sales professional, you will sell products and/or services to a group of clients while identifying potential new customers. Your work will be closely supervised, and you will be tasked with maintaining relationships. Your efforts will contribute to achieving individual sales targets within a specific product area and/or account, selling lower complexity products/services, expanding existing accounts, and acquiring new accounts. While your impact will primarily be on smaller, less complex accounts or territories, you will have some influence on the overall sales results for the team. In terms of innovation and complexity, you will adhere to standard sales and business development practices. You may recommend changes in account tactics to meet sales goals and implement improvements to work processes and procedures. Communication skills will be essential as you engage with external customers and vendors, engaging in basic negotiation and presentations to secure sales. You will be required to obtain or provide information that may need some explanation or interpretation. Leadership and talent management responsibilities are not applicable at this level, as the focus will be on self-development. Broad knowledge of sales techniques, typically acquired through education and/or on-the-job learning, will be necessary. You will learn to apply professional concepts and utilize company policies and procedures to address routine issues. A Bachelor's degree in Bio Medical Engineering, Bio Technology, Pharmacy, or Sciences from an accredited university is required for this role.
