Job Description

As a Sales Manager (Field Sales), your role involves driving revenue growth in your assigned zone through direct client engagement, lead generation, relationship management, and strategic account penetration. You are required to actively interact with academic and industrial clients to generate new opportunities, close deals, and ensure sustained growth through cross-sell and upsell strategies. Your contribution is crucial in expanding Biotech Desks footprint in your territory and achieving monthly and annual sales targets. Additionally, you will provide regular sales reports and insights to the senior management. - Revenue Generation & Target Achievement: Drive sales across academic and industrial clients to achieve assigned revenue targets. - Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify, develop, and convert new leads into business opportunities through field visits, networking, and industry connections. - Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. - Market Penetration: Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new accounts, expand market presence, and gain share in competitive landscapes. - Cross-Sell & Upsell: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to maximize wallet share. - Field Presence: Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and scientific discussions to understand project requirements and position Biotech Desks solutions effectively. - Coordination with Inside Sales & Technical Teams: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate quotations, project proposals, timely delivery, and customer support. - CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate customer data in CRM, track sales pipeline, report progress on KPIs, and provide regular updates on market intelligence. - Market Insights & Strategy: Provide feedback on competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to shape product positioning and sales strategy. Qualifications: - Proven experience in sales management and sales strategies - Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills - Strong market research and analytical abilities - Experience in the biotech industry or similar field - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is a plus - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone,
