Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager, located in Chennai. The Sales Manager will be responsible for supervising and leading the sales team, developing sales plans, and identifying growth opportunities. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring store cleanliness and product availability, and analyzing sales data to inform decisions. Additional duties include training staff, overlooking promotions, and maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers and clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales Management and Team Leadership
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using sales software and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to manage inventory and supplier relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in the retail or supermarket industry is a plus
