Job Description

An Online Sales Manager drives revenue by developing digital sales strategies, managing e-commerce channels (website, social media, marketplaces), and leading a team to meet targets. They analyze data, optimize conversion rates, and manage customer experiences to increase sales and retention. Key responsibilities include optimizing online traffic, managing digital campaigns, and utilizing CRM systems to convert leads. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Channel Management: Oversee and optimize online sales platforms, including websites, social media, and third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Shopify).
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of online sales representatives or specialists to hit individual and collective KPIs.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, and sales data to identify growth opportunities, monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
  • Customer Experience: Improve customer journeys, handle inquiries, and ensure high satisfaction to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with marketing teams to launch online promotions and drive traffic.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online sales management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for managing team and customer interactions.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve results.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Typical Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Gross online revenue/sales targets.
  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA) and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Customer lifetime value (CLV) and retention rates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
