Position Summary

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients across industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with engineers, procurement professionals, and executives.
  • Conduct client assessments and propose tailored AM solutions.
  • Deliver effective product presentations and technical demonstrations.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company targets.
  • Prepare customized proposals, cost estimates, and value propositions.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Maintain detailed records of activities and client interactions in CRM.

Technical Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Stay informed on advancements in metal AM technologies and applications.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Market Development & Representation

  • Represent m2nxt at trade shows, expos, and industry forums.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to marketing and product teams.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and distribution channels.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and generate regular reports.
  • Analyse trends to improve strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Report on competitive landscape and market shifts.

Tender Management & Public Procurement

  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities on Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), and state-level e-procurement platforms (e.g., eProcurement System of Government of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, etc.).
  • Lead the end-to-end tendering process, including pre-qualification, EoI submissions, RFP/RFQ analysis, compliance with GFR 2017, MSME/Udyam preferences, and bid preparation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, legal, finance) to develop winning bid strategies, risk assessments, and competitive pricing aligned with GeM rate contracts or L1 methodology.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value tenders (metal AM for DRDO, ISRO, DPSUs, railways, or PSUs; highlight win rate, total value won, and key projects).
  • Ensure post-award compliance with contract conditions, performance bank guarantees, LD clauses, and timely submission of deliverables to avoid blacklisting.
  • Monitor tender pipelines via daily alerts from GeM, CPPP, and industry associations (e.g., AM Chronicle, FICCI, CII); maintain relationships with nodal officers in PSUs and government bodies.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:

    BE
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5–10 years of Capital equipment’s sales experience in manufacturing domains; experience in metal additive manufacturing advantage. Exposure to AM market in India both in the Industry, Defence, and Academia.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • In-depth knowledge of AM technologies (LPBF, DED, WAAM, etc).
    • Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and DFAM principles.
  • Skills:

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
