Sales Manager (Industrial Engine Sales)

As a Business Development Manager at Yanmar Engine Manufacturing India (YEMI) Pvt. Ltd, you will play a crucial role in developing the business plan for the assigned area. Your responsibilities will include identifying key customers to maintain a continuous sales pipeline and ensuring the execution of the same. You will be managing all sales activities across the west region and fostering a solutions-based, value selling culture with customers and internal stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to achieve targets for regional sales revenue, volume, material margin, and gross profit. Building collaborative relationships with key customers, identifying, assessing, and securing new sales opportunities, and maximizing current positions of strength by focusing on profitable growth areas will be key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you must have a detailed understanding of customer requirements for customized solutions and effectively communicate internally to provide timely solutions to end-users. Regular reviews with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain sustainable business relationships will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be required to interface with cross-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support-services, R&D, and company distributors. Your educational background should include a B.Tech/BE/MBA degree, along with 8-12 years of relevant experience in business development.
