About the role
As the Sales Manager at doola, you will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our sales team while driving revenue growth and increasing sales productivity. This critical role involves coaching, training, and leading a team of inbound sales reps. You will implement structural optimizations in our sales processes, ensuring that our team is well equipped to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will also play a key role in laying the foundation for the next level of scaling our sales function as we prepare for Series B.
Key responsibilities
- Provide hands on leadership, coaching, and development to sales reps, ensuring they improve performance and meet revenue targets.
- Identify and implement key optimizations in sales processes and workflows, including conversion rate analyses and lead routing improvements.
- Develop and run training sessions to ensure all sales reps adhere to best practices and increase their productivity and effectiveness.
- Use HubSpot and other analytics tools to track and analyze sales data, providing actionable insights to improve sales outcomes.
- Develop repeatable processes, playbooks, and training materials to ensure the team can scale effectively as we approach our Series B.
- Work closely with leadership, especially our CEO Arjun, to ensure alignment on sales strategy, team growth, and overall business goals.
Skills and qualifications
- 5 10+ years of experience in sales management, preferably at a Series A/B startup or high growth company.
- Experience leading inbound sales assisted teams and optimizing sales processes.
- Strong track record of improving sales rep productivity and conversion rates.
- Hands on experience with HubSpot CRM and sales automation.
- Experience in sales coaching, training, and playbook development.
- Understanding of revenue operations and sales performance optimization.
Bonus qualifications
- Experience scaling a Series A company to Series B+.
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales management.
- Background in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
