Job Description

As part of Sodexo, you will be responsible for developing and executing the annual business development strategy within the segment. Your role will involve establishing relationships with potential large clients and increasing the organization's market share in the segment. Here are the key responsibilities you will undertake: - Develop the business development plan for the segment aligning with the overall strategy - Set business development targets for key and other accounts within the segment - Identify new growth opportunities in terms of sectors, companies, regions, etc - Support the Strategy and Technical Advisory team in developing strategies for tapping new growth opportunities - Assist in preparing the account management strategy by providing insights on potential key accounts for developmental sales - Analyze the competitive landscape and provide strategic insights to the Marketing & Communications department - Establish strategic alliances with industry forums within the segment In terms of financial responsibilities, you will: - Support in formulating the annual budget for the business development team - Monitor performance against targets and undertake budget reviews - Track adherence to the segment wise budget and manage deviations - Monitor contract deviations and ensure adherence to P&L targets Operationally, you will: - Drive acquisition of large accounts by guiding the design of Quality of Life solutions and marketing Sodexo's value proposition - Oversee the sales management process for growth and penetration in new and existing clients - Establish relationships with potential large clients through regular interactions with decision-makers - Build industry knowledge bases and update understanding of customer needs Regarding people management, you will: - Ensure the team is adequately staffed as per business requirements - Set goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback to team members - Maintain high employee engagement and retention - Oversee capability building and mentor subordinates for succession pipeline development Key Requirements: - 10+ years of sales experience - Ability to tie business value to process efforts - Change management skills - Previous experience in FM industry, Food Service, or Project Management & Retail expertise - Preferred candidates will have a background in Food Services or Facilities Management At Sodexo, you will enjoy a healthy work-life balance, leadership development opportunities, global career prospects, cross-functional collaboration, an inclusive culture, competitive compensation, and comprehensive health & wellness benefits.,
