Job Description

Assist the sales team in
merchant onboarding
for the payment gateway platform.
Generate and qualify leads through
calls, emails, networking, and social media outreach
.
Support in
presenting payment gateway solutions
to potential clients (retailers, SMEs, e-commerce, startups).
Help explain features like
UPI, cards, net banking, settlements, and reconciliation
to prospects.
Conduct
basic market research and competitor analysis
in the fintech/payments sector.
Maintain and update the
CRM system
with leads, interactions, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with internal teams (Tech, Compliance, Operations) to ensure smooth
merchant onboarding and activation
.
Assist in preparing
sales reports, client presentations, and proposals
.
Learn to
handle client queries and escalate issues
to senior sales executives.
Support the team in achieving
sales and revenue targets
while meeting internship learning goals.
