Node Js Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable microservices, real-time data processing systems, and high-throughput transaction platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize mission-critical applications across fintech, AI/ML, and large-scale distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain microservices architectures using TypeScript, Node.js, and related frameworks.
• Develop high-throughput data engines capable of handling millions of records with real-time processing.
• Implement and optimize transaction systems including payouts, settlements, and chargebacks.
• Build and integrate RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs for internal and external applications.
• Deliver low-latency, event-driven systems leveraging Kafka, Redis, and BullMQ.
• Contribute to UI development with React, Next.js, and Angular when needed.
• Drive AI/ML integrations including Document AI, Gemini LLM, vector search, and speech synthesis.
• Ensure systems are scalable, containerized, and deployed via Docker & Kubernetes.
• Write optimized SQL queries and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Vector DBs).
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern backend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and real-time data pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, Redis, BullMQ).
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular).
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies (LLMs, Document AI, Vector DBs, Speech AI) preferred.
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and query optimization.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
