Job Description

1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
  • Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability
  • Identify new business opportunities, segments, and key accounts

2. Revenue & Target Management

  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions
  • Ensure achievement of topline and contribution margin goals

3. Key Account & Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, and key customers
  • Lead price negotiations, contracts, and long-term agreements
  • Handle major customer escalations and ensure high satisfaction

4. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Provide inputs for product development, pricing, and positioning
  • Recommend strategic actions based on market insights

5. Pricing & Commercial Management

  • Define pricing strategy in coordination with finance and management
  • Approve quotations, discounts, and credit terms
  • Ensure profitability while remaining competitive

6. Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and demand plans
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and supply chain teams
  • Ensure alignment between sales commitments and manufacturing capacity

7. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team
  • Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and drive accountability
  • Build a high-performance sales culture

8. Channel & Distribution Management

  • Develop and manage distributor/dealer networks
  • Monitor channel performance and market coverage
  • Ensure effective execution of sales policies

9. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, contracts, and statutory requirements
  • Maintain ethical sales practices and documentation accuracy
  • Support audits and compliance reviews

10. MIS, Reporting & Reviews

  • Review sales MIS, dashboards, and pipeline reports
  • Present sales performance to senior management
  • Drive data-based decision-making
