Sales Head
Role & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Leadership:

    • Define and execute sales strategies to drive loan disbursements for MSME and business loan products.
    • Set ambitious but achievable monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for sales teams.
  • Team Management:

    • Build, manage, and mentor a team.
    • Conduct regular training and performance reviews to maintain high productivity levels.
  • Business Development & Channel Expansion:

    • Develop and manage key partnerships (DSAs, channel partners, aggregators) to source high-quality leads.
    • Drive both direct and indirect sales through field visits, tele-sales, digital channels, and partner networks.
  • Lead Management & Conversions:

    • Oversee lead generation, tracking, and conversion across all sourcing channels.
    • Ensure a healthy funnel from lead to disbursement, with minimized TAT (Turnaround Time).
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Build strong relationships with MSME clients, understanding their business needs to offer tailored loan solutions.
    • Ensure a smooth customer journey from application to disbursal.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure sales practices are compliant with regulatory norms and internal credit policies.
    • Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure quality portfolio and minimize delinquencies.
  • Reporting & Analytics:

    • Analyze sales data to measure performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards for senior management.

Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Management; MBA preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in financial services.
    • Proven track record of achieving loan disbursement targets and leading high-performance teams.
    • Deep understanding of MSME market, customer profile, credit risk, and competition.
  • Key Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
