Job Summary:

As a Retail Sales Executive at [Company Name], you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships within the construction materials industry. You will play a vital role in promoting and selling our wide range of construction materials to retail customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives by selling construction materials to retail customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s construction materials, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position products.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customer segments.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
  • Product Presentation:
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers about the benefits of the company’s products.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and events to promote products and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the construction materials industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
  • Good understanding of the local market and customer preferences.
