Sales Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive – GIS Solutions to identify business opportunities, manage client relationships, and drive sales of GIS-based software solutions across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of geospatial technologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients across industries for GIS and geospatial solutions
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and organizational targets
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and client meetings
• Understand client business requirements and propose customized GIS solutions
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
• Coordinate with technical and internal teams for solution delivery
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and GIS technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography / Geospatial Sciences / related field
• MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
• Proven experience in software / technology solution sales
• Familiarity with GIS platforms such as:
• GE Smallworld
• ESRI ArcGIS
• QGIS
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently
• Willingness to travel as per business requirements

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in spoken Hindi
• Prior experience in GIS or geospatial technology sales

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
