Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales & Service Engineer who will be responsible for driving B2B machine sales, providing technical sales support, and ensuring effective post-sales service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and conduct price negotiations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.

Service & Technical Support

  • Handle installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites.
  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure minimum downtime of machines.
  • Provide training to customer operators and technical staff.
  • Maintain strong after-sales relationships for repeat and referral business.

Market & Customer Management

  • Track competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Maintain detailed sales and service reports in CRM/ERP.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and technical seminars.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial machines/automation systems.
  • Technical problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in

    B2B machine sales and technical service

    .
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.
