Sales Executive – Insurance
Department: Sales & Insurance Services
Location: Mohali
Reporting to: Sales Manager / Branch Head
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Sales Executive – Insurance to join our
growing NBFC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling
insurance products (Life, Health, Motor, etc.) to customers, ensuring seamless onboarding,
and contributing to the achievement of insurance sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

Promote and sell various insurance products (Life, Health, General, Motor) to walk-in
and referred customers.
Generate leads through direct marketing, referrals, and cross-sell from the existing
customer base.
Achieve monthly and quarterly insurance sales targets.

2. Customer Handling:

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
Explain policy features, terms, and premium details clearly to customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

3. Process Management:

Assist in documentation and application submission processes.
Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams for quick policy issuance.
Ensure compliance with IRDA regulations and internal company policies.

4. Reporting & Coordination:

Maintain accurate records of sales leads and follow-ups.
Provide regular MIS and updates to the reporting manager.
Collaborate with branch teams and channel partners to enhance insurance business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline (Insurance certification preferred).
1–3 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in NBFCs or banks.
Good knowledge of Life/Health/General insurance products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Target-driven with strong negotiation skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
