Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Manager Sales to

manage the G4 and G5 product portfolio, including advanced scientific and

laboratory instruments. The role involves expanding regional business, developing

customer relationships, and driving product-specific sales strategies.

Product Portfolio G1/G5 Includes:

  • Heidolph

  • Radleys

  • Polyscience

  • Rotzmeier

  • Bruker

  • ThalesNano

  • Implen Spectrophotometers (NanoPhotometers)
  • Nanosurf Atomic force microscopes
  • Anvajo Portable fluid analysis devices
  • BWB Technologies – Flame photometers
  • Photon Etc. – Hyperspectral imaging systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business development for the assigned G1/G5 product lines

in the designated territory

  • Identify and engage with potential clients in pharma, biotech, research

institutions, and industrial labs

  • Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and presentations to promote

brand visibility

  • Manage pre- and post-sales activities, including technical discussions,

quotations, and installations

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and maintain long-term

client satisfaction

  • Work closely with application specialists and service teams for seamless

support delivery

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Prepare regular reports on pipeline, customer feedback, and market trends
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, webinars, and promotional events

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or

Engineering (Instrumentation / Electronics)

  • Experience: 2–8 years of B2B sales experience in scientific/laboratory

instruments

  • Strong exposure to selling at academic institutes, CROs, pharma, and

industrial research labs

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset and ability to travel extensively

Skills

  • Strong technical aptitude and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle long sales cycles and technical discussions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Pune and adjacent regions.
