About the Role

Political Researcher

Key Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on political, social, and electoral issues.
Collect and analyze data from multiple sources including surveys, field reports, media, and government publications.
Track political developments, candidate profiles, and local governance issues.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefs summarizing key findings.
Support campaign strategy teams with data-driven insights and constituency-level analysis.
Monitor media narratives, public opinion, and emerging political trends in Bihar and nationally.
Coordinate with field researchers and data collection teams to ensure research accuracy and timeliness.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in political research, campaign strategy, or policy analysis will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with local political dynamics in Bihar.
Experience with field surveys or social research.
Strong understanding of current affairs and political discourse.
