Job Description

Position Title: Sales Officer Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Director Job Overview: The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth for coated and laminated fabric products by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and delivering customized solutions. The role demands a good understanding of industrial fabrics, technical selling skills, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Identify and approach potential customers, including manufacturers, distributors, exporters, and industrial users. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Understand client needs and recommend appropriate fabric solutions (PVC coated fabrics, PU coated fabrics,). Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to close sales effectively. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity, and report findings to management. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the companys products. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity records on a regular basis. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Textile Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in industrial fabrics, coated fabrics, or technical textiles. Strong knowledge of coated/laminated fabrics, their applications, and market demands. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships. Skills Required: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong technical understanding of fabric types, coatings, and applications. Ability to handle technical discussions with production or R&D teams. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-centric approach. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and exhibitions. Preferred Industry Knowledge: Truck covers, tents, awnings, tarpaulins, inflatable structures, architectural membranes, industrial curtains, etc. Working Conditions: Fieldwork with regular client visits and occasional site visits to projects. Participation in exhibitions and trade fairs (domestic and international). Office-based administrative tasks between client visits.
