Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Expand the customer base by adding new distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products (e.g., promoting combo offers of namkeens and pickles).
  • Conduct market visits to assess product availability, visibility, and competitor activities.
  • Introduce new products or SKUs in existing and new markets
  • Appoint and manage distributors and ensure product availability in their network.
  • Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and payment collection.
  • Maintain healthy business relationships with retailers and distributors.
  • Support distributors in managing inventory, stock rotation, and schemes.
  • Maintain sales records, reports, and customer data using CRM or Excel tools.
  • Regularly visit clients to maintain strong business relationships.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality, pricing, or delivery.

Skills Required

strong FMCG sales skills, local market knowledge, communication ability, and a proactive attitude
