Job Opening: Sales Engineer (Mechanical – Couplings & Pulleys) Location: Kolkata (with travel across India) Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month Travel Allowances: Food, accommodation, and travel expenses provided for visits outside West Bengal Responsibilities Client Visits: Regularly travel across India to meet existing and prospective clients, understand their requirements, and provide technical support. Lead Generation and Business Development: Identify new markets, customers, and sales opportunities for AniGears products. Technical Meetings and Seminars: Present and explain product features and advantages to clients, engineering teams, and at industry forums. After-Sales Support: Address technical issues and queries post-sale to ensure client satisfaction. Feedback and Reporting: Collect market intelligence and customer feedback, and report insights to the management for product and process improvement. Work Experience Must have prior experience working with reputed manufacturers of couplings and pulleys such as Fenner, Rathi, Shanti Gears, Elecon , or similar companies. Hands-on exposure to mechanical power transmission products including gear couplings, pin bush couplings, tyre couplings, jaw couplings, resilient couplings, and taper lock pulleys . Experience in servicing clients from heavy industries like steel, cement, mining, and engineering is preferred. Required Traits Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi . Outspoken, professional, and approachable demeanor. Ability to independently reach out to clients, conduct meetings, and close technical discussions. Confident personality with the ability to represent the company in client meetings and seminars. Professional behavior, well-dressed appearance, and courteous conduct are essential. Skills and Strengths In-depth technical knowledge of couplings and pulleys; should require minimal training. Capable of understanding and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to different client needs and applications. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with the application-based approach to product selling.
