Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for sales and market development of Bobcat Backhoe Loaders and Skid Steer Loaders in the assigned areas/territory

• Generate new leads, develop customers, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, rental companies, and institutional customers

• Conduct product presentations, site visits, and machine demonstrations to explain features and applications

• Understand customer requirements and recommend the right machine, attachments, and solutions

• Coordinate with service, parts, and finance teams for smooth order execution and after-sales support

• Maintain accurate sales data, leads, and follow-ups in the CRM system

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business growth

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience

• 2+ years of proven sales experience in

  construction equipment, earthmoving machinery, or compact equipment

• Prior exposure to

  Backhoe Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, Excavators, or similar heavy machinery

  preferred

• Strong understanding of machine applications, attachments, and basic technical specifications

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new customers

• Good communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills

• Comfortable with

  field sales, site visits, and extensive travel within the assigned areas/territory

• Working knowledge of

  CRM systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools

• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of local market, contractors, and rental segment will be an added advantage
