Job Description

As a Sales Engineer at tesa, located in India, Chennai, your primary responsibility will be to manage all sales activities in assigned customers. This includes maintaining and developing existing business, as well as identifying and acquiring new business/customers to achieve sales objectives and goals through both revenue and profit. - Develop and execute short-term to long-term sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives - Implement the annual sales plan based on guidance and coaching - Follow-up and execute the annual customer plan for assigned customers - Maintain good communication with internal departments and ensure 100% compliance - Understand and follow-up relevant customer strategy for assigned key accounts - Update the sales pipeline in CRM system in a timely manner - Generate customer visit reports using CRM tools and provide feedback on key customer intelligence - Deal with complaints and act as an interface between internal stakeholders and external stakeholders - Build business acumen and market intelligence to identify potential business growth opportunities - Support market research and cooperate with internal teams to achieve sales targets - Complete other assigned tasks and projects - Bachelor's degree or above in chemical, business, economics, Science and Engineering or similar - Sales experience in Chemical/Electronics related industry preferred - Strong communication, cooperation, and influencing skills across teams and functions - Good stakeholder and customer management skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to grow - Ability to work well under pressure - Proficiency in Chinese with fluency in Mandarin is a must - Workable English communication skills in written and reading, good oral English skills are a plus tesa creates adhesive solutions that improve the work, products, and lives of customers.
