Sales Engineer - BMS/ELV

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ELV/BMS solutions within assigned territory.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Generate inquiries, manage leads, and follow up with potential clients.

2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Provide technical support and recommendations tailored to client needs.

3. Project and Product Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date on ELV/BMS products, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, energy management, and HVAC control systems.
• Collaborate with the technical team to customize solutions based on client specifications and project requirements.

4. Market Analysis and Strategy:

• Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approach.
• Identify potential projects, key stakeholders, and market opportunities for ELV/BMS products.

5. Proposal and Quotation Management:

• Prepare accurate proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
• Ensure all proposals align with project requirements, pricing guidelines, and company objectives.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in the CRM.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, specifically in ELV or BMS industry.
• Strong knowledge of ELV/BMS systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and energy management systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with major ELV/BMS brands such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Johnson Controls.
• Familiarity with project-based sales in the construction, commercial, or industrial sectors.

Work Conditions:

• Primarily field-based, with frequent client visits.
• Some travel required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
