Sales Application Engineer

Job Purpose

To support the sales team by providing technical expertise on products and applications, ensuring proper solution design and value selling. The role bridges the gap between customer needs and product capabilities to drive successful sales conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demos to customers.
• Develop application-specific solutions using company products.
• Provide engineering support for product customization and integration.
• Handle customer objections and provide viable technical justifications.
• Prepare application notes, case studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Maintain CRM records of customer interactions and prospect status.
• Provide regular reports to management on sales and technical activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering.
• Experience with industrial products, machinery, is a plus.
