Job Summary:

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment within the logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations. The role includes conducting safety training, inspections, and ensuring compliance with company and statutory safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs across all logistics and warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and company safety regulations.
• Conduct safety induction and training programs for employees, drivers, and contract workers.
• Maintain records of safety incidents, near misses, and prepare reports for management review.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise the use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness for any safety-related emergencies.
• Liaise with external safety agencies, clients, and statutory bodies during audits or inspections.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among all staff and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate / Diploma in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in safety supervision, preferably in logistics, warehouse, or transportation sector.
• Good knowledge of OSHA standards, Factory Act, and other applicable safety regulations.
• Hands-on experience in conducting safety training and emergency response drills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
