Safety Specialist

As a Junior Specialist (Safety) located in Talegaon Dabhade, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Shift Management: - Respond immediately to emergency calls, reach the spot, and normalize the situation. - Carry out the second level patrol of critical non-routine activities and check safety adherence. - Incident / Near Miss Management: - Analyze the incident spot, gather details from witnesses, and collect evidence and incident scenario photographs. - Prepare the first information report and report to management. - Organize an incident investigation committee and coordinate the investigation. - Employee Engagement (Safety): - Conduct safety campaigns, Safety Day competitions, and Safety Ambassador Program. - Safety Management: - Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for plan execution in Area Safety Management. - Critical Work Authorization: - Conduct Forklift Authorization & Internal Driving License tests, evaluate skills, and issue authorization passes based on skill tests and awareness levels. - Provide awareness of HMI guidelines & regulations, issue authorization passes, and maintain records. - Height Work Pass Authorization: Provide awareness of height work guidelines, issue height passes, and maintain records. - Management Reporting, PPE Management, Workplace Wellness, Construction Safety Management, Communication & Awareness. Qualifications Required: - Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Chemical or related field. - Mandatory: Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety [MSBTE]. - Prefer to have Certifications: Industrial Safety, NEBOSH.
