Safety Representative

Job Description: Safety Representative (IH&S Background) *Location: * Hyderabad *Reports To:* Site IH&S Owner *Position Overview:* We seek a highly proactive and dedicated representative to assist the site IH&S owner in maintaining safety equipment inventory and records. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Industrial Hygiene and Safety (IH&S) program requirements, capable of performing floor verifications, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with inspection and testing maintenance (ITM) of safety equipment. *Key Responsibilities:* - Develop a daily plan to field verify equipment details and conditions. - Establish and maintain safety equipment locations, inventory, inspection frequencies, and ITM execution compliance. - Maintain up-to-date records to meet P&G and regulatory requirements, ensuring the availability and usability of safety equipment. - Collect and maintain details of safety equipment, including but not limited to: - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and clothing - Machine guarding and respiratory protection equipment (e.g., respirators, SCBA ) - Safety showers/eye wash fountains ( SS/EWF ), powered lift trucks, power tools, and truck restraint devices - Electrical cords, dock plates/levellers, grinding wheels, and industrial storage racks - Safety devices for fall protection and prevention, such as harnesses, lanyards, stairs, platforms, and railings - Environmental emissions monitoring equipment, standby generators, and other safety-related equipment. *Required Skills and Qualifications:* - Bachelors degree in any field. - Knowledge of industrial safety and regulations. - Understanding of safety equipment and their functions. - Proficiency in records management and computer operation skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels. - Good behavioral skills to work collaboratively with P&G employees. *Preferred Qualifications:* - Previous experience in a similar safety role. - Certification in industrial hygiene or safety management. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
