Safety Officer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to join our team for our prestigious client in Ahmedabad. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all safety measures to ensure a safe working environment at our high-rise construction site. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor safety systems, procedures, and protocols for the tall building project. Inspect and approve work areas, gondolas, scaffolding, and staging equipment for safety compliance. Ensure labor safety SOPs are established, communicated, and followed at all times. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Provide training, awareness sessions, and safety drills for site workers and staff. Investigate accidents/incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions. Liaise with project managers, contractors, and external agencies to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory safety standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Safety, Civil, or related field. Proven experience in tall building/high-rise construction safety protocols. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, systems, and statutory requirements. Ability to handle emergencies and implement corrective actions effectively.
