Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Safety Officer

Implement and monitor
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
procedures at all project sites.
Conduct regular
safety inspections
,
risk assessments
, and
toolbox talks
.
Identify potential hazards and enforce
corrective/preventive actions
.
Ensure all workers and subcontractors comply with PPE usage and site safety norms.
Maintain
incident reports, safety audits, and compliance documentation
.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients on safety issues.
Conduct
emergency drills
and
safety training sessions
periodically.
Promote a strong
safety-first culture
within all site teams.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Degree in
Engineering
or
Industrial Safety Management
.
Certification in
Safety Management
(mandatory) – from a recognized institute such as NIFE, NSDC, or equivalent.
Additional certifications like
NEBOSH
,
IOSH
, or
ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
are an advantage.
Minimum
2–5 years’ experience
in construction, interiors, or facilities domain.
Good understanding of
local safety laws
, inspection procedures, and documentation standards.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
