Safety Officer

Job Title:

Location:

Proactive Safety Officer with 5+ years of experience in workplace safety management. Skilled in audits, fire safety, HIRA, and CAPA implementation. Ensures ISO and statutory compliance through effective training, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Committed to promoting a strong safety culture and maintaining zero-incident operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Audits & Inspections

  Conduct regular safety audits to identify hazards and unsafe practices. Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to management.

• Documentation & Compliance

  Maintain safety records, audit reports, and incident logs. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

• Fire Safety Management

  Manage Fire Hydrant Systems and firefighting equipment. Conduct fire drills and ensure emergency preparedness.

• Training & Drills

  Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and mock drills. Conduct employee safety training programs.

• CAPA Implementation

  Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for incidents and audit findings. Track closure and effectiveness of implemented actions.

• Regulatory & ISO Compliance

  Ensure adherence to safety norms, labor laws, and ISO standards. Support internal audits and quality management documentation.

• SOP & Process Management

  Develop and update safety SOPs and process documents. Maintain equipment calibration and documentation accuracy.

• Safety Awareness & Culture

  Promote safety culture through 5S, HIRA, and awareness initiatives.

Candidate Preferences / Requirements

• Qualification:

  Diploma in Industrial or Fire & Safety Management.

• Experience:

  Minimum

  5+ years

  of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in the

  logistics or warehouse industry

  .

• Skills:

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to conduct safety training and audits effectively.

• Knowledge:

  Well-versed in safety regulations, HIRA, 5S, CAPA, and ISO compliance.
