Job Description

Job Title: Safety Office

Job Location: Lonand, Maharashtra

Experience: 5 years - 9 years in

Qualification Required: Diploma / Bachelors Degree with Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety is MUST.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct safety audits for plant areas to ensure all the safety guidelines are followed
Ensure coordination, execution, and compliance of external safety audit in line with ISO 14001:2015
Administer safety committee meetings for plant areas
Prepare and implement various SOPs for ensuring safety & environment at the site
Supervise and conduct safety training sessions for employees (contractors, new joiners, apprentices, emergency preparedness, chemical handling etc.)
Verify all the work permits for height safety, hot work safety, excavation work, line clear work etc.
Ensure on-site emergency preparedness by supervising and conducting central and internal mock drills
Document and report any incidents or accidents on the site
Conduct daily site rounds to check for any abnormality, violation of safety memos, unsafe actions or conditions on the site
Maintain daily waste disposal record
Conduct engagement and safety awareness activities in the plants
Monitor environmental conditions (workplace noise, air quality, ambient air, VOC etc.) through external agencies.
Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management
