Job Description

Develop, Implement and monitor safety practices, procedures in the unit.
Monitor and ensure safe workplace by regular inspection in the process area, plant surrounding and practices.
Identify unsafe conditions and ensure improvement in terms of safety.
Act as on one point of contact for all safety compliance.
Implement safety awareness among employees and promote safety awareness in the premises.
Represent Safety department in various Govt. bodies such as Factories Dept, Fire Dept, Labour Dept. Fire Dept. Social Audits and customer Audits.
Maintain compliance documentation inline to Govt. guidelines, compliance and Audit requirement.
Responsible for periodical inspection of Fire, Machinery, Health and Environment equipments, apparatus.
Responsible for constitution of Safety Committee, meetings, Amendment and procedures.
Ensure Timely statutory reports filing of various departments.
Involve in Sustainability, Environment monitoring functions of the unit.
