A junior safety officer's role is to promote a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. They work under the supervision of senior safety personnel. Responsibilities 1. Risk assessment : Identify potential safety hazards and assess the risk they pose 2. Safety training : Provide training to employees, executives, and construction workers 3. Safety inspections : Inspect premises and equipment to identify issues and non-compliance 4. Incident investigation : Investigate accidents and near misses to determine the root cause 5. Safety policy development : Support the development of safety policies and programs 6. Safety procedure communication : Communicate safety procedures and regulatory compliance to all levels of staff 7. Safety record keeping : Record and maintain accident investigation reports 8.
