Safety Head

Key responsibilities

• Policy and compliance:

  Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with local, state, and national regulations.

• Risk management:

  Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards, and implement preventative measures and control strategies.

• Training and communication:

  Train employees on safety protocols, company policies, and emergency procedures, and ensure everyone understands their safety responsibilities.

• Incident investigation:

  Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Inspections and audits:

  Perform regular inspections and audits of the workplace to ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

• Emergency preparedness:

  Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.

• Record-keeping and reporting:

  Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, incidents, and training. Ensure all necessary safety notices and certificates are displayed and up to date.
