Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Ensure that the workplace is monitored and is fully in compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, rules, and regulations in order to maintain safety.
To design and implement safety plan.
Ensure medical examinations and regular trainings are provided as required by OSHA standards
To conduct investigations of accidents/ injuries and near misses.
Ensure the results of safety inspections are documented in Turn around time (TAT)
Identify hazardous situations that are associated with the accident.
Conduct safety awareness programs for employees and associates
Organize or conduct safety audits/ inspections and provide corrective measures.
Ensuring tools, tackles, and gadgets in good working conditions.
Ensuring Permit to Work system in place.
Plan and conduct occupational health surveys.
Familiarization with Hazard analysis, Job Safety analysis, and hazardous condition monitoring.
Implementation of the emergency management system.
Develop, Communicate, and implement safety procedures and work instructions to employees and associates.

Develop a culture of safety knowledge and motivation.

Preferred candidate profile

Thermal Power plant candidate will be preferred who has done RLI/CLI.

Candidate must have worked on British Safety council audit and certification.
