Role Overview: As a Safety Engineer/HSE Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel. You will play a crucial role in enhancing safety standards at project sites, conducting safety training, and implementing preventive measures to minimize risks and maintain a risk-free environment. Your expertise in identifying safety hazards, conducting surprise inspections, and driving compliance with HSE regulations will be key to the success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Identify potential safety hazards and risks at the site and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies. - Regularly assess site conditions and practices to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. - Design and deliver safety training programs for site engineers and installation teams. - Develop, maintain, and update safety guidelines and protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. - Conduct surprise safety inspections and site visits to assess compliance with safety standards. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). - Promote a culture of safety by encouraging the team to be proactive in identifying and reporting potential risks. - Prepare and maintain accurate reports on safety performance, training sessions, inspections, and incidents. - Ensure all safety measures are in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Qualification Required: - 3-4 years of experience in HSE management within construction, industrial, or similar fields. - Strong ability to identify safety risks and develop practical solutions to mitigate them. - Proven experience in conducting safety training and developing training plans. - Knowledge of HSE regulations and ability to develop and enforce safety standards and guidelines. - Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively conduct safety workshops and team training. - Proficient in preparing CAPA for safety violations and tracking performance improvements. - Ability to conduct surprise site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety guidelines. - Strong organizational skills for maintaining records, reports, and documentation related to safety.
