Job Description

As a Safety Engineer/HSE Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety standards at project sites, conducting safety training, and implementing preventive measures to create a risk-free work environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Risk Identification & Mitigation: - Identify potential safety hazards and risks at the site. - Implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies. - Regularly assess site conditions to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. - Training & Development: - Design and deliver safety training programs for site engineers and installation teams. - Prepare comprehensive training plans to educate staff and contractors on safe work practices. - Develop and conduct presentations and workshops on safety topics. - Safety Standards & Guidelines: - Develop, maintain, and update safety guidelines and protocols. - Ensure effective communication of safety guidelines to the team. - Work on enhancing safety standards and encouraging adherence to safety protocols. - Monitoring & Enforcement: - Conduct surprise safety inspections and site visits. - Identify safety violations and take corrective actions. - Record, track, and analyse safety violations. - CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions): - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses. - Develop and implement CAPA to address safety violations. - Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and improvements. - Team Engagement: - Promote a safety culture. - Foster open communication regarding safety concerns. - Engage the workforce through creative methods. - Reporting & Documentation: - Prepare accurate reports on safety performance. - Maintain documentation of safety training and audits. - Collaborate with leadership to develop improvement plans. Qualifications Required: - 3-4 years of experience in HSE management. - Ability to identify safety risks and develop solutions. - Experience in conducting safety training. - Knowledge of HSE regulations and safety standards. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency in preparing CAPA for safety violations. - Organisational skills for maintaining safety documentation. Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are advantageous.,
