Safety Engineer

As a Safety Supervisor at our real estate firm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all construction and development projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing safety operations at multiple real estate development and construction sites. - Ensuring that safety standards and protocols are followed by all workers, contractors, and visitors at the site. - Conducting site-specific risk assessments and identifying potential hazards during the construction and development phases. - Implementing corrective actions to address hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel. - Ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), local building codes, and other relevant safety regulations specific to construction and real estate. - Performing regular safety inspections on construction sites and documenting all safety violations. - Investigating any safety-related incidents, accidents, or near-misses on construction sites and preparing detailed reports. - Conducting regular safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors on various safety practices. - Developing and implementing emergency evacuation plans for construction sites and coordinating emergency response drills. - Maintaining accurate records of all safety audits, inspections, incidents, and training sessions. Key Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. - Certifications: Safety certifications such as OSHA 30-hour Construction, NEBOSH, or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) will be a Plus. - Experience: 2 years of experience in safety supervision, specifically in the real estate or construction industry.
