Position : - Proposal Engineer Location : Pune ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Job Summary: Process & Proposal Engineer for Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects in Municipal and Industrial sector in India Job Responsibility: · Process Known how of Water, Wastewater Treatment and Re-use technologies. · Independently prepare design calculations and reports · Check specifications and tender requirements to confirm compliance with overall design · To leads and coordinates the preparation, negotiation and successful finalization of Municipal bids and proposals including technical, financial and contractual aspects in both Capex, Operation & Maintenance, Rehab Projects in Water and Wastewater Treatment (experience of Water Piping network will be added advantage) · Works in close coordination with the Sale and Marketing teams. · Manages the full cycle of the proposal/tender preparations, from gathering inputs and developing estimates to the timely submission of a compliant, complete and competitive bid · Collaborates and cooperates with Sales Team members and key internal teams to determine project feasibility, key drivers of competitiveness, proposal strategy, target price and main deviations against the specifications of the tender · Benchmarks and estimates a realistic and competitive price in line with commercial strategy set out by bid committee · Supports Sales and Marketing team in meetings with external stakeholders and is a key contributor to presentations and negotiations, etc · Attending pre-bid meeting and preparation of pre-bid queries along with site assessment · Preparation of BOQ and Details cost estimation. · Bid presentation to Management to Finalize Bid Price. · Management of vendor & OEM database Key Stakeholders and Interdependencies: · Responsible for these proposals from pre-bid stage until project award, including being directly involved in design engineering, value engineering, client/supplier/stakeholder negotiations, and cost estimation. · Sales Team, Legal, Finance, Proposal team mates and HR etc. · Third party stakeholders such as Client, Consultants, Site teams etc. Education, Experience and Competencies: · An Engineering graduate with preferred stream as Environment Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering · Should have minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience in Water Business · Should be preferred experience background of Wastewater proposals · Experience in EPC and O&M proposals in Wastewater and Water Treatment is must. · Process Knowledge of Wastewater and Water Treatment is essential · Must be an excellent communicator which includes written and oral · Should have a proven track record of a good team player and must be good organizing and planning skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Application Question(s): Can you start in 15-30 days?
