Safety Engineer

Safety engineers apply engineering principles to identify workplace hazards and ensure compliance with regulations by designing safety systems, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective measures. Their responsibilities include inspecting facilities and equipment, developing safety policies and training programs, investigating incidents, and collaborating with stakeholders to foster a safe work environment across various industries like construction, manufacturing, and healthcare. Key Responsibilities

• Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment: Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and evaluate risks in systems, processes, and environments.
• Safety System Design: Design and implement engineering controls, safety systems, and equipment to eliminate or minimize risks.
• Policy & Protocol Development: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
• Employee Training: Create and deliver safety training and education programs to inform employees about safety practices, equipment usage, and emergency response.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine their root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Collaboration: Work with management, other engineers, and employees to integrate safety into all aspects of operations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Research & Monitoring: Stay updated on new safety technologies, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve safety measures and programs.
• Reporting: Prepare safety reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance efforts for management and regulatory bodies.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
