Role & responsibilities

• Build automated workflows targeting SAP GUI, SAP Web, and browser-based

applications

• Develop bots using Power Automate (Desktop and Cloud) and Automation

Anywhere

• Design reusable flows, sub-flows, and shared components
• Build VB Script utilities for SAP GUI automation and data handling
• Implement standardized exception handling, logging, and retry logic
• Develop queue-driven automations with state management
• Implement environment variabledriven configuration patterns
• Develop advanced Excel automation routines including transformations, formulas,

macros, and structured validation logic

• Implement OCR, data extraction, and document processing logic

Orchestration & Deployment

• Configure bot triggers, schedulers, queues, and execution rules
• Deploy automations across on-prem, VM-hosted, or cloud-based RPA environments
• Optimize performance, execution times, and stability under load
• Maintain credentials via platform vaults

Integration

• Integrate bots with REST APIs, ODBC/SQL sources, files, SAP connectors, and

shared data services

• Collaborate with SAP module experts for process mapping, exception routing, and

data validation rules

Documentation & Governance

• Create PDD, SDD, SIT, UAT, and release deployment documentation
• Adhere to enterprise governance, segregation-of-duties, access controls, and audit

protocols

• Store source in Git-based repositories using structured branching and release controls

Maintenance

• Troubleshoot execution failures, selector breaks, SAP script failures, and platform

issues

• Implement automated bot-health monitoring and alerting
• Own continuous improvement and stabilization cycle

35 years hands-on RPA development

• Strong automation experience with:

• SAP GUI (scripting automation)
• SAP Web/Fiori
• Browser-based automation (Chrome/Edge)

• Strong proficiency with:

• Queues & queue-based design patterns
• Environment variables & runtime configuration controls
• Excel automation (Advanced)
• Exception handling
• Logging standards and structured log outputs

• Solid scripting experience in:

• VBScript (strong preference)
• Python and/or PowerShell

• SQL fundamentals (queries, table operations, lookups)
