ROR Developer (with Hotwire - Turbo/Stimulus)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Utilize Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus) to create dynamic, real-time user experiences without heavy JavaScript frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable Ruby code following best practices.
• Design and optimize MySQL Schema / Active Record Models to ensure efficient query performance (preferred).
• Implement Tailwind CSS with Flowbite to build sleek, modern, and accessible UI components (optional).
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend services.
• Collaborate with designers and frontend developers to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails development (preferably latest version).
• Proficiency in Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus) for interactive web development.
• Strong experience writing testable Ruby code using RSpec, Minitest, or other Rails testing frameworks.
• Understanding of MVC architecture, background job processing (Sidekiq or Resque), and caching mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub (or compatible repositories) and version control workflows.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Heroku, or other cloud platforms.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tailwind CSS and UI libraries like Flowbite.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, schema design, and Active Record optimization.
• Exposure to Docker, Kamal, and containerized Rails deployments.
• Background in cybersecurity-related projects.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
