Room Service Order Taker

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Management:

Accurately take in-room dining orders via phone, in-room tablets, or other systems, ensuring all guest preferences and dietary requirements are clearly understood and communicated.

• Guest Service Excellence:

Deliver exceptional service with a warm, professional tone that reflects the resort's commitment to personalized and sustainable luxury hospitality.

• Sustainability Awareness:

Promote eco-friendly options such as plant-based menu items and minimal packaging, and actively communicate the resort’s sustainability practices to guests when appropriate.

• Menu Knowledge:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including allergens, ingredients, preparation times, and sourcing (e.g., local, organic, sustainable).

• Order Coordination:

Liaise with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, minimizing food waste and optimizing delivery schedules.

• Technology Usage:

Use the resort’s Point-of-Sale (POS) and order tracking systems efficiently to input and monitor orders, ensuring accuracy and speed.

• Billing & Payment Handling:

Accurately handle billing procedures, ensuring guest folios are correctly charged and all payment protocols are followed.

• Feedback Collection:

Actively listen to guest feedback during and after the order process and communicate concerns or compliments to relevant departments.

• Sustainable Packaging Compliance:

Ensure all room service items are packed using the resort’s approved compostable or reusable containers and adhere to waste-reduction policies.

• Team Collaboration & Training:

Support and train new team members in both service excellence and sustainable operational practices; attend regular team briefings and sustainability training sessions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
